Midweek ARIA Predictions: Jimmy Barnes sets sight on #1

ARIA Singles

Calvin Harris looks to sit at #1 for a second week unopposed with no immediate movement looking likely in the Top 10 and the highest debut coming from The Avalanches’ return single Frankie Sinatra.

The first bit of movement will hit the Top 15 with Ariana Grande’s Into You set to hit the bracket from #19. Cheat Codes’ Sex ft. Kris Kross Amsterdam is set to enter the Top 20 from #28 while Twenty One Pilots’ Ride will hit the Top 25 from its debut point of #29.

ARIA Albums

Expected to debut at #1 is Jimmy Barnes with Soul Searchin’, the latest iteration of his Soul album series. It’s possible top debut can only be impeded by a strong second week of album sales from Flume’s Skin, which isn’t entirely out of the question. Barnes’ last album 30:30 Hindsight also saw a peak of #1 on the ARIA Albums chart.

The Wolfe Brothers will score a Top 10 debut with This Crazy Life,as will Tegan And Sara’s Love You To Death. Prince’s The Very Best Of will make a move back into the Top 10 from its current position of #12.

Hellyeah will make a Top 20 apperance with Unden!able’s debut, followed by The Kills’ Ash & Iceand Ladyhawke’s Wild Things.
