Meet the hosts of #TIOawards 2018
Gus and Rig – best known for their hilarious antics on their ShitShow and Medallica podcasts, and recently triple j – will be bringing their affable humour and off-kilter shtick to The Industry Observer Awards when they host the event on March 27.

Gus and Rig sold out two nights at Oxford Art Factory late last year, both of which are available as live podcasts, and last month the pair returned from South Korea, where they were recapping all the thrills, spills and silliness of the Winter Olympics for The Brag and triple j.
Oh and they invented their own country to get into the Winter Olympics:
“We are super stoked to be the hosts of the Industry Observer Awards for 2018. It is an honour – one which we can add to our growing list of undeserved accomplishments,” said Gus and Rig.
“All of us in the industry – because we are in the industry now, we’re totally all peers – know that life isn’t easy. It’s a grind. But this is your night. So relax while we make with the yak yak and down free drinks that we were promised in now-screenshotted messages from our manager. We guarantee that our inaugural hosting gig will be the best damn gig we’ve ever hosted!”
Taking place at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Tuesday March 27, 2018, the Awards will recognise the incredible industry figures in Australasia, covering management, publishing, publicity, community radio and more.
