Lizotte’s and Kings Theatre in Newcastle to Hit the Market
Iconic Newcastle venues Lizotte’s and Kings Theatre will soon be placed on the market for sale.
Owners Brian and Jo Lizotte said they were making the announcement with an “excited heavy heart”, but their main focus now needed to be their growing family.
The duo said they were hoping to pass the iconic and beautiful venue onto a “fabulous new operator”. Ideally, they said, it would be “someone that will continue to offer the Newcastle community and beyond more world-class entertainment and hospitality for years to come”.

The Lizottes thanked their “amazing, passionate, food and music-loving customers” as well as the artists, managers, agents and promoters they have worked with over the years.
They also extended their thanks to staff.
“Finally, we’d like to thank our incredible and loyal staff over the years that have helped Jo and I create one of the most special world renown dinner show venues right here in Newcastle something we are very proud of,” they said.
They reassured everyone that for now, it’s business as usual and said they’re looking forward to seeing people soon.
“A world without music – unthinkable,” the signed off their statement.
