KLP’s new community-binding initiative is called Ricochet
KLP has teased her exciting new music industry initiative Ricochet, on International Women’s Day.
Real name Kristy Lee Peters, KLP is a multi-talented gem of the Aussie music scene, hosting triple j’s House Party every Saturday in between writing and recording her own music, co-writing for other musicians, and collaborating with locals and internationals.
Richocet will aim to unite people from all areas of different creative industries, with a view to create a new kind of community.
It is a community that, according to a press release from Ricochet, “seeks to unite through workshops, group activities and growing mentorships.”
Richochet content and workshops will find a focus and health, food, beauty and passion – while at its heart the new initiative recognises the power of music to bring people together.
KLP has also teased some upcoming music events that Ricochet is set to put on in the near future, events that will be held in partnership with Anna Fitzgerald of TMRW Music and Amy Jarmon from BMG.
She’s also put out the invite for an early-sign up to the Ricochet mailing list, to be first in the know for all news related to the new initiative.
KLP has begun a hashtag for the project, #catchmyrichochet.
