Two key music industry figures have joined forces for a brand new company.

Steve Sewell and Matt Wise, founders of venue and events company Kingdom Sounds and New South Wales’ Rolling Sets Festival, have announced Noisy Group, which they have described as a new era for live entertainment and bookings.

Having sold over 180,0000 tickets in the last 12 months, Noisy Group has already set ambitious goals to surpass 300,000 by 2026 through new festivals, more venue acquisitions, and taking more live music around Australia and abroad. This will also include Sewell and Wise heading to Austin, Texas for the SXSW festival and conference which kicks off this week.

Noisy Group will also move into the promoter space under the banner of Noisy Presents, which will launch a number of “game-changing” tours and one-off events. This includes Spacey Jane’s forthcoming headline show at The Station in Newcastle in May, in support of the band’s forthcoming third album, If That Makes Sense

Kingdom Sounds operates many popular venues around Australia, including Hotel Brunswick, Discovery in Darwin, The Exchange Hotel in Newcastle, Port Macquarie’s Finnians, and the Kingscliff Beach Hotel.

Forthcoming events from Noisy Group include Ziggy Alberts’ headline show in Gosford next week, as well Teenage Dads, SPEED, Conrad Sewell’s acoustic regional tour, The Rubens, Holy Holy, Make Them Suffer and Bliss n Eso.
