Independent Chart Wrap: The Screaming Jets challenge Sia

It’s week three at #1 for Flume’s Say It ft. Tove Lo following its debut at the top spot. It leads ahead of a stagnant Top 4 with the first change coming at #5 from Ziggy Alberts’ Four Feet In The Forest EP. Client Liason’s World Of Our Love scores a debut at #17 following the launch of its music video last week and The Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition scores a re-entry at #20.

It’s a similarly quiet week in the Top 5 for the Carlton Dry Independent radio chart as Sia’s Cheap Thrills still refuses to budge. The Rubens take a new peak with Cut Me Loose at #6 from #7 while Vance Joy’s Riptide returns to #7 from #9.

A.D.K.O.B.’s Glue makes another shot for the Top 10 at #13 from #18 while Mid Ayr score a re-entry in the lower Top 20 at #17. John Butler Trio’s iconic first single from 2004Zebra actually makes a debut at #18, entering the chart for the first time ever. Robbie Miller and Yeo round off the chart as The Pain and Icarus re-enter at #19 and #20 respectively.

AIR Albums

Sia’s This Is Acting returns to #1 from #3 on the Albums chart this week. The Screaming Jets take a debut at #2 with Chrome makingfor the only debut on this week’s chart. Courtney Barnett makes it back into the Top 10 at #10 from #13.

Richard Clapton hits 312 from #16 with The House Of Orange followed by Sticky Fingers’ Caress Your Soul at #13 from #14.

Ziggy Alberts re-enters at #18 with Land & Sea, followed by Client Liason’s self-titled EP at #19 and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizzard’s Paper Mache Dream Balloon at #20.
