Independent Chart Wrap: The Jezabels debut at #1

Flume’s Never Be Like You featuring Kai remains at #1 for another week on the Carlton Dry Independent Singles chart. Tim Minchin’s Come Home (Cardinal Pell) makes a huge debut at #2, landing ahead of Vance Joy’s Straight Into Your Arms, which debuts at #5.

Sia’s Elastic Heart makes for the next noteworthy change in the chart at #12 up from #17 with a debut from The Rubens right behind it at #13 with Hold Me Back. The Jezabels round the chart off at #20 with the debut of Pleasure Drive.

AIR Radio Play

In week two of Sia’s Cheap Thrillsrelease it moves to #1 from #4. Methyl Ethel’s Rogues takes a new peak at #5 from #12 followed by Robbie Miller’s The Pain at #7 from #17.

On it’s 100th week in the chart, Sheppard’s Geronimo moves up to #9 from #19 following a big boost in airplay. Ayla’s When The World Ends re-enters at #11 this week as does UV Boi’s If She, If He featuring EASTGHOST at #16.

Sia’s Elastic Heart takes a re-entry at #18 followed by Courtney Barnett’s An Illustration Of Loneliness.

AIR Albums

Following their #4 debut on the ARIA Albums chart, The Jezabels have debuted at #1 on the AIR Albums chart with Synthia.

Tim Minchin’s So Fucking Rock (Live) debuts at #6 as Polaris’ The Guilt And The Griefdebuts at #8.

Tim Minchin pops up again at #13 with a re-entry from Ready For This?. He pops up yet again at #18 with And The Heritage Orchestra followed by Ziggy Alberts’ Land & Sea at #19.
