Independent Chart Wrap: Sia tops all charts

The Carlton Dry Independent Music Singles Chart sees a very familiar Top 3 this week with Sia’s Elastic Heart sitting at #1, Chet Faker’s Talk Is Cheap maintaining his position at #2 and Hilltop Hoods’ Cosby Sweater holding #3. Making a gain of one position is Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP’s Sugar Man which is now up at #4 from #5, pushing Peking Duk’s Take Me Over featuring Safia back down to #5. Former #1 Chandelier by Sia is up at #6 from #8, though its likely it will drop from the Top 10 in coming weeks. Two new debuts take place in the Top 20:Vance Joy’s Georgialands at #13, andJoel Fletcher and his latest single State Of Emergency,comes in at #19.

In regards to airplay, Sia’s Elastic Heart is now sitting at #1 there too, with Peking Duk taking the fall again, this time from to #2 from #1 with Take Me Over featuring Safia. A re-entry takes place at #6 from The Weeknd’s Generik featuring Nicky Van She, followed Joel Fletcher’s Swing at #9.Chet Faker’s Talk Is Cheap re-entersat #16 and Bootleg Rascal’s Oh I Know at #19.Two new debuts also hit the airplay chart with Daniel Johns'Aerial Love at #8 and Joel Fletcher’s State Of Emergency at #17.
