Independent Chart Wrap: Planetshakers debut at #1

The Carlton Dry Independent Singles Chart finally sees a new #1 after five weeks of Meg Mac’s Never Be dominating the chart with Hermitude’s Searchlight featuring Yeo taking the top. At #2 is a debut from none other than Sia with My Love becoming her fifth single currently in the chart. Three re-entries come in at the bottom of the chart with Meg Mac’s Every Little Lie at #18, Chet Faker’s Gold at #19 and The Smith Street Band’s I Scare My Self Sometimes at #20.

AIR Radio Play

It’s now six weeks at #1 on the Radio Play chart however for Meg Mac’s Never Be. It leads ahead of Big Scary’s Organism,which is up at its peak of #2 from #4. Replacing them at #4 is Courtney Barnett’s Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go To The Party which is up from #18 and Boo Seeka’s Deception Bay at #5 from #13, both at their respective peaks. Three re-entries make it in here as well at #14 with Sia’s Elastic Heart, Hermitude’s Searchlight at #16 and Sia’s Big Girls Cry at #18.

AIR Albums

A new debut sits at #1 on the Albums chart this week with local worship band Planetshakers’ #Let’s Go. Sia’s Best Of climbs to #6 from #20. There is little to no notable movement in the chart aside from that, although a re-entry does crop up at #19 with The Smith Street Band’s Sunshine & Technology.
