Independent Chart Wrap: Camp Cope score impressive debut

AIR Singles

There’s a new #1 on the AIR Singles chart this week after five weeks of Sia’s Cheap Thrills at #1. Taking the top debut is Flume’s new single Say It ft. Tove Lo. He sees success with previous single Smoke & Retribution ft. Vince Staples & Kucka at #9 as well, moving up from #13. Vance Joy scores a re-entry at #19 with Georgia.

AIR Radio Play

It’s a different story on the AIR Radio Play chart though with Sia still reigning supreme at #1 with Cheap Thrills. Marcus Marr & Chet Faker’s The Trouble With Us inches a step closer to #1 at #4 from #5, followed by Vance Joy’s Riptide at #6 from #9.

Luca Brasi’s Aeroplane re-enters at #14 following the hype around their album launch; meanwhile Milwaukee Banks’ Faded debuts at #16. Sia re-enters the chart at #18 while Food Court’s For The Morning debuts at #20.

AIR Albums

Sia’s This Is Acting remains at #1 though Melbourne hopefuls and punk up-and-comers Camp Cope debut at #2 with their debut self-titled album. Russell Morris’ Red Dirt Red Heart moves back up to #5 from #9 while The Bennies inch closer to the Top 10 at #11 from #12 with Wisdom Machine. Harts’ Daydreamer re-enters at #18 followed by a debut from Massive’s Destination Somewhere at #19.
