Independent Chart Wrap: Flume has another track outside the Top 5

AIR Singles

It’s now 12 weeks at #1 on the Carlton Dry Independent Music Charts for Flume’s Say Itft, Tove Lo. It maintains its lead ahead of an almost entirely stagnant Top 10. A few movers crop up at #5 with The Opposite Of Us from Big Scary, up from #6 followed by a new peak for Flume’s Lose It ft. Vic Mensa at #6 from #9.

Northeast Party House debut at #12 with For You, the only new debut in the Singles chart. The Temper Trap re-enter at #20 with Fall Together.

AIR Radio Play

Flume’s Say It has nowhere higher to go on the Radio Play chart, now at its third week at #1. Sia’s Cheap Thrills re-enters high at #2, its former high point and leads ahead of The Temper Trap’s Lost, climbing to #3 from #7.

Vance Joy re-enters with Straight Into Your Arms at #14 followed by Emma Louise’s West End Kids debuting at #15, matching up with the release of its music video earlier this week.

Hayden James’ Just A Lover re-enters at #18 followed by a re-entry from The John Butler Trio’s 2003 singleZebraat #20.

AIR Albums

Sia maintains her hold on #1 and #2 with This Is Acting and 1000 Forms Of Fear respectively for another week. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard hold onto #3 for another week with Nonagon Infinity as the album’s tour continues to travel across the country, rounding off last week with two dates in Sydney.

Following the announcement of their new album, Sticky Fingers see a surge for Caress Your Soul at #4 from #7, as well as Land Of Pleasure at #5 from #12. Sia’s Best Of… cracks the Top 10 once more at #8 from #16, as does Camp Cope’s self-titled at #10 from #17.

Only re-entries take place this week with no debuts in sight. Seth Sentry’s Strange New Past is the first #12 followed by Sia’s Some People Have Real Problems at #17 and The Bennies’ Wisdom Machine at #20.
