The Hottest 100 Australian managers of 2021!
Yesterday the results of triple j’s Hottest 100 for 2021 were announced. As always, the winning artists are being inundated with positive messages and social media comments, congratulating them on their achievements.
However, as almost any artist will tell you, their managers work tireless hours behind the scenes to help ensure success, but very rarely do these managers get well-deserved recognition for their hard work.
In light of this, like previous years, we’ve decided to take a closer look at all the managers behind the charting Aussie acts from yesterday, and rank them in terms of how well their artists performed.
To do this, we’ve decided to give each manager a number based on how well their artists charted in the countdown. For example, a #2 position gave The Kid LAROI’s manager a score of 99, #3 gave Spacey Jane’s a score of 98, and so on.
Collating this data, we’ve put together an in-depth list that helps to celebrate the often unsung heroes of the Aussie music scene; the managers.
