The Hottest 100 Australian managers of 2020!
Yesterday marked one of Australia’s biggest music events for the year, the count down of triple j’s Hottest 100 for 2020. While, the spotlight is thrust upon the winners, like Glass Animals, who took out #1 with ‘Heat Waves’, as well as many other talented musicians who earned top spots, very rarely do the managers behind the scenes get well-deserved recognition.
In light of this, like previous years, we’ve decided to take a closer look at all the managers behind the charting Aussie acts from yesterday, and rank them in terms of how well their artists performed.
To do this, we’ve decided to give each manager a number based on how well their artists charted in the countdown. For example, a #1 position gave Glass Animal’s manager a score of 100, #2 gave Spacey Jane’s a score of 99, and so on.
Collating this data, we’ve put together an in-depth list that helps to celebrate the often unsung heroes of the Aussie music scene; the managers.
