The Hottest 100 Australian managers of 2018
Sunday afternoon saw triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2018 counted down, much to the delight of music fans across the globe. However, while everyone was celebrating the immense talent that these stunning musicians displayed, very rarely did the folks behind the scenes get the recognition that they deserved.
Now, with the countdown done and dusted for another year, we’ve decided to take a closer look at all the managers behind the charting Aussie acts from yesterday, and rank them in terms of how well their artists performed.
To do this, we’ve decided to give each manager a number based on how well their artists charted in the countdown. For example, a #1 position gave Ocean Alley’s manager a score of 100, #2 gave FISHER’s a score of 99, and so on.
Collating this data, we’ve put together an in-depth list that helps to celebrate the often unsung heroes of the Aussie music scene; the managers.
