Louis Tomlinson joins growing list of 1D members reaching Most Added status
As predicted by TMN (and anyone with a set of ears), Louis Tomlinson’s ’Back To You’ has dominated radio. Featuring Bebe Rexha andDigital Farm Animals, it’s now the third debut single from an original One Direction member to take Most Added. His first release as lead artist, ‘Back To You’ saw additions to 81 stations, outdoing any competition with quite little effort.
For reference, when ZAYN left the band and struck out on his own, launching his solo career with ‘Pillowtalk’, he only cracked #2 after just losing out to Rihanna’s ’Work’in what is likely the closest ever Most Added chart in the history of TMN.
Niall Horan earned the Most Added title with debut single ’This Town’last October, blowing all other competition out of the water for the week.
April this year saw the inception of Harry Styles’ solo career with the critically acclaimed ’Sign Of The Times’also earning a #1 Most Added following the week of its release.
Joining ZAYN and missing out on that coveted #1 Most Added spot following release was Liam Payne’s debut ’Strip That Down’ featuring Quavo. It put up a fight though, only narrowly losing the spot to Selena Gomez’s hit ’Bad Liar’.
