Grove Studios Academy partnering with MMAD for Open Day performances
The Grove Studios Academy is gearing up to hold their 2018 Open Day in just a matter of days, and ahead of the big event, they’ve announced that they have partnered up with Musicians Making A Difference (MMAD) for live performances on the day.
The Central Coast’s iconic Grove Studios have recently launched The Grove Studios Academy, which aims to teach a new generation of producers and engineers all the info that they need to help shape the future of Australia’s music scene.
With The Grove Studios Academy’s Open Day fast approaching, they’ve teamed up with MMAD to help entertain visitors on the day with live performances, a guest artist, and an Open Mic session for aspiring musicians.
A grassroots charity that aims to change the lives of young people with the power of music and mentoring, MMAD is something truly special. “Sharing the inspiration of music is something that MMAD exists to do, and The Grove Studios Academy Open Day will provide a great synergy with live performances and future students who are preparing to start their sound engineering career,” explains MMAD’s Dominic Brook.
The Grove Studios Academy’s Open Day is set to give interested students the chance to experience a fully-operational studio firsthand, giving attendees the chance to see live demos, studio tours, and information booths.
The entire experience at The Grove Studios Academy is an immersive, hands-on way of learning which will see students focus on all aspects of the music industry, while working alongside ARIA Award-winning producers such as Scott Horscroft (Music Producer and Studio Director), Burke Reid (Producer) and Andy Mak (Producer/Engineer/Songwriter).
The Grove Studios Academy is holding its Open Day on Saturday April 28, so head to the website for more information on the studio and the sound production qualifications it’s offering this year.
