Great Gable ink deals with ADA Worldwide & Select Music
Perth outfit Great Gable are set to take their career to new heights, with a dual announcement of deals with ADA Worldwide and Select Music
The band has signed a new distribution deal with independent services agency ADA Worldwide, who already provide services for artists including Joji, Anderson .Paak, The Heart Aches and Macklemore.
“Great Gable are one of the most exciting bands in Australia and we are honoured to be working with them,” says Australia’s ADA general manager and Warner music marketing director, Ben Ralph.
“Beautiful, intelligent music and amazing people – 2020 is going to be a special year for the band.”
The agency, owned by Warner Music Group, also looks after distribution and marketing at labels including BMG, Sweat It Out, 12 Tone, 88 Rising and Sub Pop.
“Working with the incredible crew at ADA is the next step for our music and has us very excited to see what is beyond the horizon,” says Great Gable guitarist Matt Preen.
“Ben and Catherine at the Aussie office have shown such confidence in our music, and allowed us to work very independently and freely, which is important to us as a band and something we really respect in the music industry.
“To have our music reach all parts of the world is what we have striven for since day dot, and we know that having the crew at ADA supporting us and our new releases on a global level will help us to achieve these goals.”
Great Gable will also join Select Music for live representation in ANZ, joining The Chats, The Jungle Giants, Lime Cordiale, Skegss, Stella Donnelly on the roster.
“I have been a fan of Great Gable since I first saw them play almost a year ago, so I am very pleased to be able to finally get to work with them on developing their live touring strategy & to watch them grow as the exciting and unique performers they are. We’re thrilled to be welcoming them to the Select roster,” says Select Music senior agent, Casey O’Shaughnessy.
Great Gable’s last year has seen the band release their Lazy Bones EP, and perform sold-out headline tours as well as multiple festival appearances. They’re set to play at On The House festival in Perth in the near future.
