Gang of Youths heading back home, $1 from every ticket to support Aboriginal Legal Service
Gang of Youths will return from their home base in London for a series of national shows in November.
The Sydney stop of the Say Yes To Life tour at The Enmore Theatre will form part of this year’s 2018 ARIA Week program.
For the tour, Gang Of Youths have partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket purchased goes to support Aboriginal Legal Service (ALS).
ALS is an organization working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to provide culturally appropriate legal services, influence positive change, and increase access to justice.
The November dates will be the last behind their award-winning 2017 album Go Farther In Lightness.
They’ve since toured heavily through Europe and sold out most of their North American tour.
The latter needed some shows postponed as singer Dave Le’Aupepe developed vocal problems and returned to London for short-term medical treatment.
With their international success growing, the band are set to play a huge amount of festivals around the world, including Austin City Limits, Pinkpop Festival, Rock Werchter, Lollapalooza and Osheaga, in addition to being hand picked by the Foo Fighters to play their US festival, Cal Jam.
Their latest single ‘The Heart Is A Muscle’ has amassed over 3.5 million Spotify streams in the US, and appears on Spotify’s ‘Digging Now’, ‘New Noise’, ‘Rockin’ Vibes’, ‘Totally Alternative’ and ‘Rock This’ playlists.
