Flume delivers London Grammar-assisted cut ‘Let You Know’
Grammy-winning producer Flume is here to ‘Let You Know’ he’s back.
The Aussie enlists the vocals of London Grammer’s Hannah Reid for the track, proving his star power once again.
On ‘Let You Know’, Flume shows off an uncanny ability to compliment the musicality and timbre of his guest vocalist, while also staying true to his distinctive style.
Following the understated and complimentary production under Reid’s first verse, Flume reminds you he’s there with a warped, arpeggio-referencing synth line.
The track was written last year with Reid in the UK, revealed Flume on Twitter.
“[I] had been wanting to make something with Hannah for a long time and this one just came together really naturally in the studio that day,” he said.
The track follows his collab with rising US rapper Reo Cragun ‘Friends’ ( earlier this year, as well as mixtape/visualiser project Hi This Is Flume.
Flume’s potential for commercial radio success was shown when he previously reached #3 on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart with tracks ‘Never Be Like You’ ft. Kai and ‘Say It’ ft. Tove Lo.
This week the Aussie also announced a tour of Europe and the UK, kicking off in October.
