FastForward conference returns to Sydney in April 2019

The European music conference FastForward is returning to Sydney for a second year, founder Chris Carey announced to TMN.

It will take place on April 11 and 12 at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

The inaugural event, at which TMN was a presenting media partner, focussed on innovative ideas from capped audiences of music executives still hungry and rising up the ranks.

The schedule is still to be announced, but Super Early Bird tickets are on sale now for $155.

Meanwhile, FastForward stages in Amsterdam for a fourth year on February 14 and 15.

The first wave of speakers include songwriting duo Mac & Phil (Hurts, Emeli Sande, Bloodstream, Chainsmokers); Anne-Marie’s manager Jazz Sherman; and Catherine Luckhoff, CEO of South Africa’s Nichestreem.
