EXCLUSIVE: New World Artists signs experimental duo Party Dozen

New World Artists (NWA), the independent booking agency for Daniel Johns, Allday and Northlane among others, has signed on Sydney duo Party Dozen.

Party Dozen is saxophonist Kirsty Tickle and percussionist Jonathan Boulet – yes, the Jonathan Boulet who has performed with Kate Nash and Mumford and Sons.

While the project is loosely based around improvisation, Party Dozen released their debut full-length release The Living Man last Friday (June 30). The record is currently FBi Radio’s Album of the Week.

Speaking of the signing, Kirsty and Jonathan said: “We’re so excited to be joining the New World Artists family in Australia and are super pumped for more live shows in 2017.”

NWA Agent Edwin Tehrani said: “From the moment I heard Party Dozen, I knew I had to work with them. They bring a sound and energy that is like no other. We are very excited to have them as part of the New World Artists family.”

Party Dozen are locked in to perform at Brisbane music industry conference BIGSOUND in September. We’re hoping the show will look something like this:
