Dylan Lewis & Jane Gazzo out to prove music TV ain’t dead

Dylan Lewis and Jane Gazzo of much-loved ’90s series Recovery have a new YouTube channel.

The self-produced music series features interviews and performances, with chats on what’s trending in Australia and abroad.

The makeshift studio for Recovered is a repurposed old caravan salvaged from a scrapyard. It’s tight for space, but provides the loose and casual ambience that the two are known for.

The idea is to take the rickety 1965 Viscount Camper direct to the artist, whether that be at a gig, festival, hotel or by the side of the road if the thing breaks down.

Gazzo says the two have always entertained the idea of working together again.

“This year we decided to do something about it. Although this is very much a passion project, we are having a lot of fun and are really excited about the possibilities,” she said.

“I feel like a 14-year-old girl again whose just discovering music for the first time with her best mate. We have had a million belly laughs and an array of brilliant musos who have been so generous in being part of this adventure.

Guests include Press Club, Ash Naylor, Picket Palace, Swervedriver, P-Unique and Henry Wagons

Lewis added, “We just love music and musicians and we love working with each other.

“We got sick of people telling us music TV is dead so we thought ‘stuff it’, let’s just do our own thing coz we love it. So we are.”
