I OH YOU collected the prestigious Best Independent Label gong and the 2021 Outstanding Achievement Award went to Deena Lynch (aka Jaguar Jonze), in recognition of her work in “courageously calling out unacceptable behaviour” and for raising awareness for the industry to have a code of conduct to ensure everyone’s safety in the workplace, reads a statement from AIR.

The annual AIR Awards was presented as a hybrid event at Adelaide’s Freemasons Hall and was streamed on YouTube.

“Congratulations to all the nominees and winners tonight,” comments AIR CEO Maria Amato. “In a year of continued lockdowns and enormous challenges, it was great to see Australian Independent artists continue to create new music and connect with engaged audiences.”
