Digital Chart Wrap: Sheppard and Peking Duk on top

Charts & Music Manager

This week, Sheppard’s track Geronimo sits at the top of the iTunes Top 100 chart, beating the likes of Clean Bandit’s Rather Be and the juggernaut that is Pharrell’s Happy. Geronimo’s success isn’t shared across the other digital charts however. It is currently sitting at #10 on the Shazam Top 100 and it hasn’t placed at all on the Spotify Top 20 – maybe a sign that Aussies are more likely to purchase a local track to support the artist, rather than to simply stream it. Peking Duk’s High takes the #1 spot on the Shazam 100 and is placing well respectively in the other charts, sitting at #4 on the Spotify 20 and #5 on the iTunes 100. Rather Be by Clean Bandit ft. Jess Glynne has remained at #1 on the Spotify Top 20, also performing very well in the other charts. It’s currently placed at #4 on the Shazam 100, and #3 on the iTunes 100. Loco by Joel Fletcher & Seany B has jumped 20 places in the Shazam 100 and is now sitting pretty at #6. The track is also placing fairly well at #14 in the iTunes 100. It will be no shock if this song breaks into next week’s Spotify chart. Rita Ora has placed at #27 with her track I Will Never Let You Down, in only its first week in the Shazam 100. Christina Perri’s song Human also did great for its first week in the Shazam charts, placing at #29. To access these, plus 25+ other charts, loginorsubscribe.
