Digital Chart Wrap: Bieber debuts on top of two charts

A new debut tops the ARIA Streaming chart this week with What Do You Mean? by Justin Bieber pushing The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face down to #2 from #1. It’s not all bad news for The Weeknd though, his other single The Hills has moved into the Top 10 at #6 from #12. R. City also enjoys a Top 10 breakthrough with Locked Away featuring Adam Levine moving up to #7 from #16. Felix Jaehn enjoys some strong movement to #18 from #32 with Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better) featuring Jasmine Thompson. Two other debuts enter the chart this week with Nico & Vinz’s That’s How You Know at #14 and Vance Joy’s Fire andThe Flood at #37.

Shazam

Nelly’s The Fix featuring Jeremih takes the top of the Shazam chart this week, moving up from #2. Replacing them at #2 is Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Downtown, which is up from #16. The Weeknd’s The Hills takes #5 up from #18 followed by Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean? at #6 from #25. OMI sees a huge leap with Hula Hoop hitting #18 from #83 while Kygo also manages to break into the Top 20 with Stole The Show at #19 from #29. Robin Schulz just makes it into the Top 50 with Sugar while Drapht’s Dancin’ John Doe re-enters just outside the halfway point at #51.Ellie Drennan enjoys a high debut at #37 with Ghostthis week while Troye Sivan’s Wild and Avicii’s For A Better Day follow at #43 and #45 respectively.

Justin Bieber takes the top of the iTunes chart this week with a debut from latest single What Do You Mean? while R. City’s Locked Away featuring Adam Levine moves up to #2 from #6. Replacing them at #6 is The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face, which is up from #10, meanwhile Felix Jaehn’s Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better) takes a new peak at #9 from #20. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Downtown debuts just one spot short of the Top 10, entering the chart at #11.Plenty of other new debuts also make their way into Top 50, Ellie Drennan’s Ghost being the next highest which debuts at #19.5 Seconds Of Summer’s Jet Black Heart debuts at #32 while #34 and #35 see new entries from OMI’s Hula Hoop and Joe Moore’s Symphony respectively. Rounding off the last of the debuts is Avicii’s For A Better Day at #41.
