Destroy All Lines Recruits Veteran Promoter Scott Mesiti

Scott Mesiti joins the Destroy All Lines, just days out from the independent concert promoter’s latest edition of Good Things Festival.

Mesiti boasts more than 20 years’ experience in live music, and will provide “additional senior leadership across the rapidly growing company,” according to a statement.

The new recruit has served as festival director of Australian Music Week and director of MJR Presents, part of TEG Group.

“We are thrilled that Scott has joined Destroy All Lines in our Promoter team,” comments Chris O’Brien head of touring at Destroy All Lines.

Mesiti has promoted artists such as Hans Zimmer, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, 50 Cent, Six 60, The Jacksons, Sia, Steel Panther, Evanescence, James, Salt & Pepa, Sean Paul, Shaggy, UB40 and other, “and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the company in the future,” he continues.

Destroy All Lines has emerged as one of the biggest independent concert promoters here or anywhere, shifting upwards of 700,000 tickets in the past 12 months.

Formed in 2003, Destroy All Lines has worked on treks for the likes of The Offspring, All Time Low, Interpol, Bring Me The Horizon, Simple Plan, Bloc Party, Ghost, Parkway Drive and many others.

The jewel in its crown is Good Things Festival, the traveling heavy music fest which visits Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane next month, with a show featuring Korn, Sum 41 and many more.

Last year, launched the company’s work promoting the inaugural Knotfest Australia, and, more recently, launched its comedy and country music divisions.

“I’m really looking forward to this next chapter,” comments Mesiti.

“Destroy All Lines have been kicking major goals these past few years and have an incredible reputation globally. Having previously worked together on several projects, I’m a big fan of their approach, delivery, culture and I’m excited to contribute.”
