Delta Goodrem returns with ’Think About You’, announces [V] Island show

Delta Goodrem is back with her first new musicsince 2016, with the release of new single ’Think About You’ coupled with the announcement of a forthcoming performance on [V] Island.

Multi ARIA-winning Goodrem will appear on the Sydney Harbour floating stage at [V] Island on Tuesday Feb 27, performing to a packed out crowd.

She’ll peform an exclusive set of her biggest hits, and will also debut her new single,her first new track since her 2016 albumWingsOf The Wild.

“Performing and connecting with my fans continues to be something that is so special to me,”she says.

It will be such an incredible experience to perform at [V]’s Island Party on such an iconic backdrop of Sydney harbourand I can’t wait to share some of my songs with everyone in such an intimate and magical way.”

“It’s another great get for [V] to announce that Australia’s sweetheart, and sixteen-time ARIA Award-winner, Delta Goodrem will be gracing the Island later this month,” added Fraser Stark, group channell manager of Foxtel Arts & Music channels.

“Delta’s powerful song-writing, her accomplished musicianship, her beautiful voice, personal charm and that bright star power will all be ours for one big night. I’m sure that invitations will be hard to find once word gets out about this.”

With this performance, she joins the likes of Ed Sheeran, Mark Ronson, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Major Lazer, Dizzee Rascal, Rudimental, Charli XCX and Alessia Cara, along with Australian legends PNAU, Hilltop Hoods and Guy Sebastian, all who’ve performed at [V] Island.

Goodrem wrote ’Think About You’ with Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, who’ve worked alongside One Direction, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Maroon 5.

“As a songwriter, I look at the message that I want to convey in a song,” she said. “In this case, and after working on a number of different projects, I genuinely went into the writing session with an open mind that it didn’t have to come with as much gravity in the sentiment, it just has to feel good.”
