Dean Lewis has just scored himself another impressive accolade, becoming the #1 most Shazamed artist in America right now.

Ask anyone about how well things have been going for Dean Lewis lately, and they’ll undoubtedly share a number of impressive figures.

Having spent five weeks at the top of the ARIA charts with ‘Be Alright’, scoring a #6 spot in the Hottest 100, winning the ARIA Award for Best Video, and racking up half a billion streams worldwide, Lewis is very clearly on a roll right now.

However, with his debut album set for release in just a matter of weeks, the Sydney musician has just scored another accolade, becoming the most Shazamed artist in America right now.

Every day, Shazam update their list of the most searched-for songs, giving a pretty intriguing insight into the listening habits of music fans around the world.

While Aussie fans are currently having quite a good time discovering Dominic Fike’s ‘3 Nights’, it turns out that our American friends are having a field day with Dean Lewis, turning ‘Be Alright’ into the most Shazamed track in the country.

Yes, sitting a top a top ten list that’s a veritable who’s-who of the music industry, Dean Lewis’ #1 spot is just another feather in his already highly-decorated cap.

However, the good news doesn’t stop there, with Lewis’ ‘7 Minutes’ currently the third-most Shazamed track in his home country, meaning that he’s in high-demand pretty much everywhere.

Dean Lewis’ A Place We Knew is set to be released on March 22nd. We’ve got a pretty good feeling that he’s about to become one of our biggest musical exports in no time.
