Club Sweat inks deal with emerging dance producer Mell Hall
Adelaide-based electronic artist Mell Hall has signed on to join the Club Sweat label family.
The signing arrives alongside the release of Mell Hall’s debut single ‘Knock Knock’, a four-to-the-floor disco romp with an explosive vocal courtesy of Thandi Phoenix.
On top of releasing a string of remixes for the likes of Torren Foot and KLP & Stace Cadet, Mell Hall is an established touring DJ, having previously performing bumper sets at Good As NYE and Grapevine Gathering.
Club Sweat label head Danny T welcomed Mell Hall to the label in ecstatic fashion, proclaiming that “Australia’s Queen of Disco has arrived.”
“Lovers of dance, purveyors of disco, we hereby introduce to you the undisputed funkiest one of them all, our latest Sweat signing, and your ticket to funky-town: the one and only Mell Hall. A relationship built over 10 years, you’ve always been family, AJAX would be proud AF.”
Hall also noted her excitement towards joining the Club Sweat roster, saying that the signing is a natural extension of her 10-year affiliation with the label.
“I’m so excited to finally announce I have officially signed my first record deal with Club Sweat / Sweat It Out,” Hall said.
“A dream, a relationship and a family built over ten years – I am so honoured to join the incredible list of Artists that call Sweat home. I cannot wait for you all to hear what I have been working on – stay tuned, new music is just around the corner.”
