Hot 100 The TMN Hot 100 has a new #1 in the form of Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off. In just four weeks it has managed to amass enough airplay to shoot past G.R.L’s Ugly Heart at #3 and Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass at #2. The chart also bears witness to something rarely ever seen, a debut at #10. The debut came from Calvin Harris & John Newman’s Blame which has been overwhelmed with commercial airplay in its first week of service. In regards to movement this week, Redfoo’s New Thang has entered the Top 20 at #12 from last week’s #25, Alex & Sierra’s Scarecrow has climbed to #53 from #69 and The Griswolds’ Beware The Dog has moved from #100 to #62, a grand total of 38 positions and this week’s most moved song. Once we get past that however, then we start to see some significant movement. At #3 is Redfoo’s New Thang which jumped from last week’s #9. It should also be said that this track has only had a total of three weeks within the ARIA Singles chart. At #4 is Jessie J, Nicki Minaj & Ariana Grande’s Bang Bang, which marks a new high point for the track. George Ezra’s Budapest moved up to #6, one position shy of his previous peak at #5. ARIA Albums This week sees a new debut at #1. Vance Joy’s Dream Your Life Away has taken the top spot and pushed Jimmy Barnes’ 30:30 Hindsight to #2. This #1 debut builds on the success that his hit single Riptide had earlier on in the year, charting within the Top 40 in five European countriesandpeaking at #3 on the TMN Hot 100. At #3 is Ariana Grande’s My Everything, which moved up from #8. More new debuts can be seen at #10 and #11 from Ryan Adam’s self titled release and Interpols El Pintor respectively.
