Charts & Music Manager

TMN Hot 100 This week, Nico & Vinz hold #1 for the third week in a row with their hit single Am I Wrong. Although the top spot hasn’t changed, #2 is now Mr Probz with Waves. The track jumped an astounding six places within the top 10 from #8 to #2 and surpassed the likes of Milky Chance and Sam Smith. Most songs have shifted up or down as a result of the new #2 except for Ed Sheeran’s Don’t, which has entered the top 10 for its first time this week after jumping from #11 to #8. The H100 has its fair share of movement this week with plenty of big movers. The latest single from Hilltop Hoods, Wont Let You Down featuring Maverick Sabre, jumped from #79 to #39; George Ezra moved up from #93 to #42 with Budapest and 5 Seconds Of Summer jumped form #76 to #27 with their latest hit Amnesia. The most movement this week though came from David Guetta and Sam Smith; their single Lovers On The Sun (which was last week’s most added) jumped a grand total of 53 places this week from #68 to #15. ARIA Singles The Madden Brothers have finally finished their climb to the top this week after hitting #1 on the ARIA Singles chart. As well as pushing record breakers Justice Crew with their single Que Sera down to #2, it also marks the brothers’ first #1 on the singles chart. The last song that came close was Dance Floor Anthem, which was released under Good Charlotte in August of 2007. At #3 is a new debut from Ariana Grande; Break Free, which features Zedd, is her second single to debut in the top five, the other being Problem featuring Iggy Azalea, which peaked at #2 in May. Other movement in the top 10 this week includes Ed Sheeran’s Don’t climbing two spots from #6 to #4. It becomes his fourth top five on the ARIA Singles chart. Ella Henderson’s Ghost has moved into the top 20 this week, almost breaking into the top 10. It jumped from #23 to #12 and is set to break the top 10 in its fourth week on the chart. ARIA Albums It’s been a great week on the albums chart for Australian artists. At #1 is a debut from Sia, with her sixth LP 1000 Forms Of Fear. It is the singer/songwriter’s first #1 on the ARIA Albums chart and features her successful singles Chandelier, which peaked at #2 in April, Eye Of The Needle and Big Girls Don’t Cry. At #3 is a debut from Melbourne based rapper Allday. His debut album marks the highest debut that UNFD’s new hip hop imprint label ONETWO have released to date. Elsewhere in the top 10, the new McClymonts album Heres To You & I debuts at #8. It becomes the third appearance from the trio in the ARIA albums chart whose previous two albums earned them the ARIA Award for Best Country Album.
