Charts & Music Manager

Hot 100 The Hot 100 sees the same top three again this week, with Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off at #1, Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass at #2 and G.R.L’s Ugly Heart at #3. Once we get past that however, we start to see some significant movement. Calvin Harris & John Newman’s Blame has moved to #4 from last week’s debut at #10 – very impressive for its second week in the chart. Another new entry into the Top 10 is seen from Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang, which moved up to #6 from #11 and Redfoo’s New Thang, which just entered at #9 from last week’s #12. Outside of the Top 10, Nathaniel’s Live Louder jumps to #11 from #21 and could very well break into the Top 10 next week if its airplay remains as strong as it has. The only other real significant movement within the Top 50 is Alesso’s Heroes which has jumped from #77 to #36, a grand total of 41 places and is this week’s most moved song. It should come as no surprise seeing as the track has spent three consecutive weeks in the most added chart. The Top 50 hosts a slew of new high debuts this week. First and foremost is The Veronicas’ new single You Ruin Me, which in its first week of being serviced to radio debuts at #19 on the TMN Hot 100. Hilary Duff’s All About You comes in at #34 and Mary Lambert & B.O.B’s Secrets enters at #38. ARIA Singles This week sees Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass retake #1 from Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off, pushing it back down to #2. At #3 is Timmy Trumpet’s Freaks featuring Savage which moved up from #7, a new peak for the track, meanwhile Nathaniel’s Live Louder has reached a new peak at #5 after jumping from #22. Outside the Top 10, Calvin Harris & John Newman’s Blame has moved up to #10 from last week’s #19, also reaching a new peak. In regards to debuts, Sigma’s Changing featuring Paloma Faith debuts at #19, Fences Arrows featuring Macklemore & Ryan Lewis comes in at #35 and Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud enters at #41. ARIA Albums Two new debuts top the ARIA Albums chart this week. At #1 is The Madden Brother’s Greetings From California, their first album under that name and their first #1. Slash’s World On Fire featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators takes the #2 debut. Megan Washington also enjoys a reasonably high debut with There There entering the ARIA Album chart at #5. Two new entries are also seen in the Top 20: Kasey Chambers’ Bittersweet which enters at #15, and Motionless In Whites’ Reincarnate which comes in at #19.
