Jessica Mauboy will host the second instalment of That Blackfella Show when it returns to ABC TV next month as part of NAIDOC Week.
The singer-songwriter will front Australia's first-ever First Nations variety program, following its debut season last year, when it returns on Wednesday, July 8th at 9.10pm.
Joining Mauboy is a First Nations talent roster that includes Baker Boy, Dyagula, and Drifting Clouds on the music side, alongside newest tearoom custodian Ian Zaro, known to audiences from Traitors and Nude Tuesday.
The program will feature brand-new sketches, including the return of fan-favourite character Aunt Kerrie, as well as a long-awaited acting debut from rapper and activist, BARKAA.
That Blackfella Show holds a notable place in Australian television history as the first First Nations variety program to air on the ABC. Its second iteration arrives during NAIDOC Week, which this year runs from Sunday, July 6th to Sunday, July 13th.
