Chart Wrap: Molly hits #1, Zara Larsson tops H100

Taking #1 on the Hot 100 for the first time ever is Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson with single Lush Life. It moves up from #4, surpassing previous best Never Forget You, which peaked at #2 on the TMN Hot 100.
ZAYN’s long-awaited single Pillowtalk makes a jump to #6 from its debut point of #17 and is well on its way into the Top 3.
Twenty One Pilots enjoy a move into the Top 20 at #14 from #28 with Stressed Out, as does Flo Rida’s slow burner My House. The Rubens see success from Hold Me Back breaking through the Top 50 at #31 from #51, replaced by Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s I Know What You Did Last Summer at #51 from #73.
Most Moved this week is Adele’s When We Were Young which makes it to #60 from #88 following a boost in airplay.
A few notable debuts make it into the Top 50 this week starting with Conrad Sewell’s Remind Me at #36, followed by Coldplay’s Hymn For The Weekend at #40
ARIA Singles
Flume earns a new career peak for himself with Never Be Like You featuring Kai making its way to #1 from #2, his first ever #1 on the ARIA Singles chart. Twenty One Pilots make it into the Top 10 at #3 from #11 with Stressed Out becoming their first ever Top 10 single.
Rounding off the Top 10 is Chainsmokers’ Roses featuring Rozes which hits #10 from #19, making for their second Top 10 singe, the first being 2013’s #selfie. Two debuts make notable entries at #20 and #25 this week with Lukas Graham’s 7Years and Hilltop Hoods’ 1955 featuring Montaigne & Tom Thum, respectively.
ARIA Albums
Climbing to #1 is Molly: Do Yourself A Favour, the soundtrack to the Channel Seven TV mini-series Molly. The move to the top comes on the soundtrack’s eleventh week in the Top 50, earning a Platinum certification along the way.
Coldplay’s A Head Full Of Dreams moves back into the Top 10 at #6 from #12, feeding off the success of their Super Bowl 50 performance. The first debut hits at #11 with Elton John’s 32nd album, Wonderful Crazy Night. It marks his highest charting studio album since the release of Songs From The West Coast.
Returning to the Top 20 after some time is Chvrches’ 2015 album Every Open Eye with their current tour of the country with Laneway Festival being the catalyst. The next debut comes in at #20 with Lucinda Williams’ fittingly titled The Ghosts Of Highway 20.
