Chart Wrap: Chris Brown & Tyga debut high, Led Zeppelin re-enter in the Top 15

This week sees Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney hold#1 for their second week in a row with FourFiveSeconds. #2 and #3 see the same with Taylor Swift’s Style and OMI’s Cheerleader respectively. Ellie Goulding breaks the Top 5 landing at #4 from #7 with Love Me Like You Do. Two new tracks manage to crack the Top 10 this week. The first is Iggy Azalea’s Trouble featuring Jennifer Hudson which hits #9 from #20.The other is LunchMoney Lewis’ Bills which makes the jump from #13 to #10.
Vance Joy’s Georgia just falls short of the Top 25 landing at #26 from #37. Imagine Dragons’ Shots makes the jump from #93 to #55, not surprising considering the track isthis week’s #2 most added song to radio. The week’s most moved track is Jarryd James’ Do You Remember which makes the jump from #70 to #31, a total of 39 places.
Three new debuts dot the Top 50 this week. The first in at #35 is Zedd’s I Want You To Know featuring Selena Gomez. The other two come from Conrad Sewell’s Hold Me Up at #39 followed by Jess Glynne’s Hold My Hand at #47.
ARIA Singles
Ellie Goulding holds #1 on the ARIA Singles chart for her third week in a row now, no doubt waiting for the airplay to catch up and reflect the same, which may happen in coming weeks. Ed Sheeran sees an incredibly high debut for the Singles chart at #7 with Bloodstream, making it his ninth Top 10 single, and fourth from his album X.At #9 is a new entry into the Singles Top 10 with LunchMoney Lewis’ Bills making the jump from its debut spot of #12. Nick Jonas’ Jealous sees a jump to #17 from #24, breaking another threshold and setting a new peak for the slow burner. Two new debuts pepper the Top 50 aside from Ed Sheeran;Lee Kernaghan enters at #32 with Spirit Of The Anzacs while Kelly Clarkson’s Heartbeat Slow comes in at #44.
ARIA Abums
The Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack has yet to move from the spotlight, remaining at #1 for its fourth week since debuting at the tops spot. At #3 is the highest debut to hit the chart this week, Chris Brown & Tyga’s Fan Of A Fan: The Album. Though her debut on the singles chart may have been in the lower end of the spectrum, Kelly Clarkson’s Piece By Piece sees a debut at #5 on the Albums chart. At #12 is another debut, this time from Skrillex & Diplo’s Skrillex And Diplo Present Jack Ü, the debut album from the duo. At #13 is a re-entry of all things from Led Zeppelin with the re-issue of Physical Grafitti, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the original.
