Casey Barnes gets another country #1, SME wins market share battle
Independent Aussie singer-songwriter Casey Barnes has kept up a remarkable streak of local acts on the country airplay chart, with his second #1 of the year.
‘We’re Good Together’ tops the TMN Country Hot 50 powered by Radio Monitor in just its fifth charting week, ending a seven-week run by The Wolfe Brothers.
His previous single ‘Sparks Fly’ had a six-week run atop the chart earlier in 2020.

‘Breathe’ by The Buckleys hits a new peak of #6, while ‘Porch Party’ by Jayne Denham, Jasmine Rae & Amber Lawrence jumps three frames to #5.
On the TMN Hot 100 powered by Radio Monitor, Brando’s hit ‘Look Into My Eyes’ remains #1.
Amy Shark (‘Everybody Rise’) at #9, Sia (‘Together’) at #10 and ‘This City by Sam Fischer at #6 are the local acts currently occupying spits in the Top 10.
Meanwhile, new releases by Shark and Guy Sebastian helped Sony Music Entertainment to their first Hot 100 Market Share win of the year, with a 37.26% share.
Universal Music Australia remains ahead in the Hot 40 share, holding a slender lead with 38.19%.
