Budjerah Eyes U.S. Touring With United Talent Agency Deal

Budjerah will be taking his talents to the United States through a new deal with United Talent Agency (UTA).

The award-winning Coodjinburra singer and songwriter signs with United Talent Agency for the Americas, and will be repped by global touring agent Noah Simon (Post Malone, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Jacob Collier, Masego).

“I am thrilled to represent Budjerah and proudly welcome him to the UTA family,” Simon says. “He is undoubtedly a singular talent with a timeless voice and in close collaboration with Lemon Tree, we’re excited to introduce his exceptional artistry to the Americas.”

The two-time ARIA Award-winning artist is on a high after touring and collaborating with Ed Sheeran, performing on both coasts of the U.S., appearing at the Hermes Menswear Collection at Paris Fashion Week, and performing with Tina Arena at the 2023 Rolling Stone Australia Awards, just moments after collecting best new artist.

There’s potentially more silverware to come, with Budjerah shortlisted for artist of the year, song of the year, and film clip of the year (for the gold-certified “Therapy”) at the 2023 NIMAs.

To celebrate his new relationship for North America, Budjerah releases the soulful, stripped-back new number, “Video Game,” via Warner Music Australia.

“I’ve been waiting a very long time for this song to be ready,” he explains in a statement, “and finally after performing it for a year on stage, I think you guys are ready to hear one of my most personal songs yet.

Written with Meg Mac, Matt Corby and Chris Collins, “Video Game” can be streamed below.

Budjerah is managed by Lemon Tree Music, and joined the Mushroom Music Publishing roster in 2021.

Later in that year, he won the inaugural Michael Gudinski breakthrough artist award at the ARIAs.

His first foray into North America came in 2021 when his label Warner Music Australia struck an alliance with the music major’s U.S. company, paving the way for his music to get a serious push in the world’s biggest recorded music market.
