EXCLUSIVE: Brisbane’s PS Music Group adds two new names to its booking roster
Brisbane’s PS Music Group, a booking agency, promoter and management company, has added two noteworthy names to its growing bookings roster in NSW-based quartet Morning TV and Zimbabwean-born R&B singer and vocalist Thando.
Thando has most recently been honing her craft in a killer support slot, having joined REMI. and Sampa the Great on their recent Fire Sign tour. With sold out shows of her own and appearances at BIGSOUND, Strawberry Fields and St Kilda Fest, she’s also well on her way to carving out a niche as one of Australia’s best new R&B acts.
Morning TV, meanwhile, have just come off another big support slot for act of the now Middle Kids, and are readying an EP of surf-rock to follow a string of promising singles, with PS Music Group taking on booking duties across Australia and NZ.
Director Will Watson tells of his excitement over the new acquisitions. “Working with artists at the early stages of their career is where the internal team at PS Music Group thrive,” he says. “With that, we’re honoured and excited to continue the momentum for the phenomenal artists over their entire career.”
The artists join recent signings that include Melbourne rockers The Sinking Teeth and electro-folk act Owen Rabbit, while PS Music Group are currently promoting the Aus/NZ tour by hip hop legend Pharoahe Monch, and bringing Canada’s Frazey Ford to our shores for Mullum Music Fest.
With an ever expanding family of artists, PS Music Group’s momentum is rapidly cementing the company as a key national player in the Australian music industry.
The Group are also promoting the recently announced Pharoahe Monch tour of Australia and New Zealand as well as a Mullum Music Fest appearance for Canadian singer-songwriter Frazey Ford.
