Brisbane’s Crowbar to take over The Bald Faced Stag

The team behind iconic Brisbane live music venue Crowbar have announced that they will be taking over established Sydney venue, The Bald Face Stag.

Trad Nathan and Tyla Dombroski have been holding down Brisbane’s ‘Home of the Heavy’ for the past six years. Now the power-duo are taking on The Bald Faced Stag’s venue lease for the next 5 years.

In a press release, Dombroski has stated “We’ve both spent a lot of time in Sydney over the years and have watched a lot of venues close down, we don’t want to see this happen to the StagWe have an opportunity to rebuild it, and we are going to make that happen!

Like it’s Brisbane parallel, Crowbar will aim to private a welcoming ‘home base’ for bands and punters. “We’ve built a strong community for punters and bands at Crowbar in Brisbane, we can’t wait to bring the same values to Sydney!” says Nathan.

Crowbar Sydney is currently taking bookings now for bands looking to play in December.
