BMG signs Peking Duk to global deal

BMG has signed multi-platinum duo Peking Duk to an exclusive global deal for the World excluding Australia and New Zealand.
The multiple ARIA and APRA winning pair have delivered recent memorable international performances at major festivals including SXSW, Coachella and Lollapalooza. In April, Peking Duk took home the 2016 APRA awards for both ‘Dance Work of the Year’ and ‘Most Performed Australian Work’ for their multi-platinum track ‘Take Me Over’, the latter confirming that it was the highest earning Australian song of the year.
Peking Duk’s breakthrough single ‘High’ has been certified 3xPlatinum by ARIA and the outlandish music video for recent single ‘Say My Name’ featuring Orange is the New Black star Matt McGorry, has garnered international recognition while the song has also featured in the US on recent Taco Bell and UFC campaigns.

In preparation for their debut album to be released by RCA records in the US, BMG’s International Writer Services team has designed an exclusive bespoke songwriting camp which is currently underway at Wood Shed Studios in Malibu. At the BMG Peking Duk SoundLab, an eclectic mix of songwriters and artists from around the world are working across 3 separate studios together with Peking Duk on new material.

Peking Duk join a BMG roster that also includes Australian artists Wave Racer, Meg Mac, LDRU, Matt Corby, Tame Impala (ex- ANZ), Chris Ross and Myles Heskett(Wolfmother) and The Living End.
