BMG Signs J Motor to Global Deal

BMG Australia is pleased to announce the signing of rising Sydney artist J Motor to a worldwide music publishing deal.
After being premiered by Triple J’s Matt and Alex, J Motor’s debut single ’Jungle Daze’ was picked up by MTV’s The Challenge before being featured in a high profile North American commercial for NFL and Budweiser. As the song gathered steam it quickly reached #4 on the Spotify Global VIRAL 50, #6 on the Billboard Spotify Chart and was added to the Spotify Viral Hits playlist. ’Jungle Daze’ has also just been featured in a recent Acura commercial across the United States.

The J Motor deal was the result of creative collaboration between BMG’s newly established Australian office and BMG’s international writer services team.

J Motor has recently released his new single ’Meet In The Sky’and the eagerly awaited Luke Million remix of ’Jungle Daze’ is set to drop imminently. J Motor will head to the US for the remainder of 2016 to write, record and collaborate on new material and to also support the growing momentum around his first 2 releases.
J Motor joins a BMG global roster that also includes Peking Duk, Meg Mac, Wave Racer, Nicole Millar, Montaigne, Matt Corby, Tame Impala (ex. ANZ), San Cisco, Wolfmother, L D R U and The Living End.
