Adrian Eagle, Nancie Schipper, and more join Bigsound 2019 lineup
Conference and festival giant Bigsound today reveal the second artist lineup for 2019, which will showcase some of the best Australian acts, currently on the way up.
Electronic-pop producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Japanese Wallpaper will join the already mammoth lineup. Joining him will be Adelaide’s TOWNS, Ballarat’s Nancie Schipper, heavy-hitters Bakers Eddy and more. imbi the girl, These New South Wales, and Adrian Eagle all join the 2019 performing contingent.
Acts already on the lineup for 2019 include Dulcie, Approachable Members of Your Local Community, and Tones And I. The latter has already had a blockbuster year, signing deals left, right and centre across the globe. Overnight, she has taken over Lil Nas X on the iTunes Charts. No biggie.
All of the acts will play over four nights across 18 stages, in a choose-your-own-adventure discovery moment to remember.
As part of the major event, artists will now be a part of the brand-new Artist Village, which is set to provide an all-round “sanctuary and meeting place” to them.
Previously, acts who have performed have included Gang of Youths, Tash Sultana, and Middle Kids. All of these artists have showed their music to members of the industry, which usually results in huge label, agency and management signings.
