Barnesy keeps humour after falling through stage
Jimmy Barnes, ever the pro, has kept his humour after falling through the stage at the Mount Isa Rodeo on Sunday night.
He tripped and his leg fell into a 30cm gap between two platforms, badly cutting it.
He finished the show, and flew immediately out of Mt Isa and spent a night in hospital.
“Thanks for all the messages, it’s just a stage I’m going through!” Barnes conveyed to fans.
“I’m fine, thanks everyone”.
The crowd in the front rows might have noticed his leg bleeding but the rest of the crowd bayed unaware through the show.
Barnes is expected to attend the world premiere in Melbourne tomorrow (Thursday) of his Working Class Boy documentary movie where he will partake in a Q&A session with its director Mark Joffe.
Working Class Boy is in cinemas around the country from August 23.
