Melbourne’s Australasian Worldwide Music Expo (AWME) has announced its first round of international music industry delegates for November’s conference.

Emere Wano from WOMAD NZ, Robin McNicol from US festival Bonnaroo, Glastonbury’s Malcolm Haynes, Chris Frayer from the Winnipeg Folk Festival and Grant Paley from Canada-based agency Paquin Artists are among the 15 announced representatives from global and Australian festivals, record labels, booking agencies and arts organisations set to attend the seventh AWME.

This year will see 500 industry representatives storm Melbourne’s Arts Centre from November 13-16 as well as an artist lineup of over 50 acts including local multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Pete Murray, US band Nahko and Medicine for the People, Canada’s Digging Roots and Scotland’s Finding Albert.

In September, AWME received $20,000 from the Victorian state government to market itself locally and overseas.
