Set across four stages will be a host of WA alternative, grunge, punk and indie-rock bands alongside soloists.

Optus joins a host of other leading brands in partnership with Live Nation, include NAB, American Express, Virgin Australia, Flight Centre, YouTube Music and Hilton.

A number of the grants have gone towards getting artists to this year's BIGSOUND conference.
