Australian Galaxy S10 owners get 4 months of free YouTube Premium

Australians who buy the new Samsung Galaxy S10 phone get four months of free access to YouTube Premium.

Premium is YouTube’s ad-free tier which also includes access to YouTube Music.

But there are a number of conditions attached.

You can’t be a current YouTube Premium subscriber or a  Google Play Music or YouTube Music Premium.

You can’t have ever subscribed to those three services or have taken part in a giveaway via those subs services.

Australia is one of 29 other countries who can access the deal.

They include the US, New Zealand, Japan, UK, Canadam Brazil, France, Germany and South Korea.

The deal also extends to new buyers of Fold and Tab S5e.

US buyers get six months of Spotify Premium for free:

Also in the US, Spotify will be pre-installed on Samsung phones in the future.

This is the latest collaboration between the two companies.

Last August, Spotify became the primary music service for Samsung’s Galaxy Home speaker, and later integrated into the Bixby smart assistant which includes music recommendations on the Bixby Home screen.
