Australia to see Christina Aguilera & Demi Lovato debut new duet
Australia will be able to see Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato perform their world television debut of their duet on Aguilera’s new single, ‘Fall In Line’.
This takes place at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, which is screened locally on Foxtel channel [V].
[V] has the three hour ceremony on the slate from 10am Monday May 21.
The awards are held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Aguilera and Lovato join previously announced performers BTS, Camila Cabello, Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, John Legend, Dua Lipa and Shawn Mendes.
Janet Jackson, will receive this year’s ICON Award, given to artists who have led industry-defining careers and shaped the music landscape.
Jackson will also take the stage for a highly anticipated performance of her greatest hits, marking her first TV appearance in nine years.
Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars are up for a massive 15 nominations each.
All three are competing against Drake (9 noms) and Taylor Swift (5) for the Top Artist award.
Post Malone, a fave with [V] viewers, is up for 13 BBMAs in 12 categories.Justin Bieber and Cardi B are tied with 8, while the names behind the worldwide smash ‘Despacito’ Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, have 7 apiece.
