The Aussies behind the latest Demi Lovato single
A few days ago Demi Lovato released a surprise new single ‘Sober’. The affecting ballad details Lovato’s relapse after six years of sobriety.
For years, Lovato has been candid about her battles with mental health and her struggles with addiction. ‘Sober’ is a poignant, wildy honest and very human song about relapse.
‘Sober’ was written and produced by two Australians. Sydney based producer Tushar Apte and Brisbane producer and musician M-Phazes.
You might recognize M-Phazes for his work on… literally everything. He is the guy responsible for producing Amy Sharks ‘Adore’, Alison Wonderlands ‘Messiah’ and Illy’s ‘Papercuts’ he has also worked with giants like Eminem and Madonna. Oh, did we mention he’s won a Grammy.
