Audreys, Beards, Bad//Dreems, multi-nominees for SA awards
The Audreys, The Beards, Bad/Dreems and Ash Gale are among the multi-nominees for the 2014 Fowler’s Live Music Awards.
Other SA names who have received national attention – including Luke Million, Tkay Maidza, Allday, Tracer, Collarbones, Shaolin Afronauts, Truth Corroded, The Timbers and Sincerely, Grizzly – are also represented.
Organiser Peter Darwin, who runs the Fowler’s Live club, said of the peer-nominated awards, “[It] is a well regarded group of artists and industry initiatives. We’re pleased to be able to recognise these individuals, and we all look forward to celebrating our local industry at the Awards event in November.”
This year, there is a new category, SA Songwriter(s) of the Year. It is sponsored by APRA AMCOS and awards the winner $500 cash. APRA AMCOS is also giving $500 cash to the winner of the public-voted SA Song of the Year.
