The two artists who performed at the TIO Awards were made Unearthed’s Feature Artist back to back
If you joined us at the Sydney Cricket Ground a couple of weeks ago for the inaugural The Industry Observer Awards, then you would have been lucky enough to see two of Australia’s brightest rising stars perform live. Now, these stunning musos have been made triple j Unearthed’s Feature Artists back to back.
Yes, this week sees South Australia’s Adrian Eagle currently serving as Unearthed’s Feature Artist, with Eagle’s stunning track ’17 Again’ getting plenty of airplay thanks to its nostalgic, inward-looking themes of hope.
But now, triple j Unearthed have announced that next week’s Feature Artist is set to be Sydney’s CXLOE, who recently noted that she’s eyeing off a monster career over in America, where she’s based part-time these days.
Both of these brilliant musicians are well-deserving of this honour, and its wonderful to see their obvious talent being appreciated by the Australian public in such a huge way.
